Ride A Pet mutations
3 confirmed multipliers and an honest account of the 2 that are still unverified.
Read this before the table
Every multiplier on this page is graded S4 Single source. They come from third-party coverage and have not been read off a gameplay frame. The ordering is almost certainly right. The exact multipliers are the part to treat as provisional, and this page would rather say that than imply a precision it does not have.

Confirmed mutations
Sources indicate five mutations exist in total. Only three multipliers could be corroborated. Per project data rules the two unresolved mutations are NOT invented and NOT named speculatively. The page states that the roster is incomplete and that we know it.
| Mutation | Multiplier | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Shocked | 2x | Doubles the pet's value |
| Volted | 3x | Triples the pet's value |
| Rage | 4x | Quadruples the pet's value |
How mutations behave
- A mutation raises speed, earnings, or both.
- A pet holds one mutation. Mutations do not stack on a single pet.
- The multiplier applies on top of the pet's base value, so the same mutation is worth more on a pet with a higher base.
Because a mutation is a multiplier and not a replacement, it never reshuffles the base stat rankings. A mutated Snail does not become competitive with an unmutated Kitsune, since Kitsune starts at a base speed of 1B before any multiplier is applied. What a mutation does change is the opportunity cost of your best roll. Spending a 4x on the fastest pet you own produces a large absolute gain. Spending it on a mid-roster pet produces a small one and leaves you holding a better multiplier on a worse mount.
That also explains why the two axes on the pet database matter here. Speed mutations pay off during the egg loop, where reaching a distant nest before the restock is the whole game. Income mutations pay off on the plot, where the goal is affording radar tiers and nest upgrades. If a mutation boosts only one of the two, the pet to attach it to depends on which half of the game you are currently short of.
The 2 we have not published
Two further mutations are reported to exist. No multiplier for either of them has been corroborated, so this site does not name or number them. Naming a mutation we cannot verify would be worse than admitting the gap.
Read the mutation roll result directly from a gameplay frame, then update this file and the page in the same commit.
Common questions
- Can a pet have more than one mutation?
- No. A pet holds a single mutation, so there is no stacking question and no combinatorial maths. That makes the decision simple: the mutation multiplies whatever base the pet already had.
- Should I put my best mutation on my best pet?
- Yes, and the reasoning is arithmetic rather than preference. A mutation is a multiplier, so it produces a bigger absolute gain on a pet with a higher base value. The same 4x on Kitsune is worth vastly more than the same 4x on Snail.
- How do I get a mutation?
- We are not publishing an acquisition method yet. No source explains the roll mechanism in a way we could confirm, and describing a method we have not seen would be guessing at the part of the game where guessing costs you the most.
- Why does this page list only three mutations?
- Because only three multipliers could be corroborated. Sources report five exist in total. The other two are named nowhere on this site, on purpose. A fan wiki that invents a mutation name to look complete is worse than one that shows its gaps.
